i was reading through my archives and realised this livejournal has, more or less, run its course. it has accompanied me through four years of secondary school life and i think it'd be nice to have a change haha. also, posting pics to lj is v troublesome la, the direct upload takes a ridiculously long time! hence i have moved here. 3 f's ok. thailand shots are finally up over there! i don't think i'll purge this, might keep it to blog friends-only whining posts because my f-list is just that AWESOME (and nice)

i'll try my best to use pictures of my life for this meme! won't be posting for the next 5+ days, i'm flying off on wednesday and tomorrow's ultraviolet outing evening. still wracking my brains over which camera to bring, mother says NO FILM but i'm planning on going totally analogue. theo lent me his diana with a 35mm back attached along with the flash, so i'm thinking of lugging that with me. not the flash though, prolly just going to detach the hotshoe adaptor and use my holga one. alrighty, f-list, take care!! :D

placed a large dinosaur comics order a few days ago, it's a birthday present from my parents! dad returned from china yesterday so i'm (finally!) relieved of my chores, but i'm going to carry on looking after the tortoises. was so indignant to find out that he only feeds them once in three days so while he was gone i sliced cabbage into coleslaw-esque pieces and gave them a feast every morning. sadly, they rewarded me with too much poop and i've regretfully concluded that daily feedings are far too rich for their tiny tortie tummies ): it's back to twice-a-week meals for them! i had to wash out their tank today and the amount of brown muck was incredible. kinda gave me a craving for chocolate ice-cream...ew, i disgust myself

guess what? I DID GO FOR PROM AFTER ALL. thanks to shakespeare my darling my baby my heroine my idol my lurver~

seriously, shakespeare tried persuading me to go but that didn't work and now she's privy to the knowledge that in my situation, there are extenuating circumstances. if my best friend understands and doesn't give me shit about it, what right do you have to pester me to reconsider? i just explained myself to a councillor for the first and last time and i'm done. i don't need people trying to guilt me into going for some $80 extravagance. yeah, i consider that an extravagance. some people hate milk, some people dislike chocolate, i don't find the idea of attending my school's prom appealing.
